Inquirer
Knowledgeable
I have always loved to learn new things and become knowledgeable, because how more questions I ask, how more questions you have. I always research the things (especially if I will need it in the future) I find interesting, for example surgery. That is also the reason why I love science. You explore, experiment, test, and understand how the world really works. I always pay my very best attention in science.
Thinkers:
I do my best to understand when I am confused, and try to stop the confusion. I work as well as I can at school, even if it can be hard because of my English. I always try to answer my questions, but when it’s too hard for me, I . An example can be when someone asks the wonders about the universe, or if someone has lost his homework sheet and asks me where it is.
Communicator:
Communicating is important in order to understand each other. I can speak four different languages (Dutch, Norwegian, English and French (almost)), giving me a huge advantage in the future.
I can collaborate well with anyone in class as long as the collaborator tries not to communicate with the person next to them. Still, I think I can improve my social skills a little, because I find it a little difficult to get well along with my classmates.

Principled:
I am always as honest as possible, except when lying is a better choice, for example when it can hurt someone. I think I am principled because I do what’s fair for everyone. When someone does something wrong, or needs help, I do my best to help. Me and my sister together joined a small group of children who were being bullied because we liked being bullied better than bullying itself, even if there are many memories I will never quite forget.
Reflective: After I go away from the classroom, I often think again of what I have learned. I am excited and nervous in doing tests because the test reflects how much I have gained.
Risk takers: I often try something
new while I can. I think life is not fun without taking (not
dangerous) risks. I used to go on a lot of different clubs to see
what I really liked, and I still do. That’s why I now liked chess,
because I tried something new and liked it.
When I do something unfamiliar, I try to encourage myself still to do it. Once I encouraged myself to win an extremely hard competition, were everyone were stronger, older and faster than me. Still I did my very best, meeting extreme uncertainty. I won in the end, winning 1500kr!
open minded
Open minded is a big factor in BISS. In PE, English, humanities and drama we are often having discussions or sharing ideas. I would say that I am open minded because I always participate in those discussion. I am not afraid to say something in front of others.
I always listen to others points of view, and I respect them. I don't expect everyone to like me, and I accept the fact that people are different. Especially at my last school in Ogna, I seemed to be one of the only people who respected other because of their character rather than the look. I was together with the people who where teased, and not with the ones who teased.
caring
I would say that I am a caring person in some ways. I do not have so many friends, but the ones I have are very good ones. I respect others, and their opinions. When there is an argument, I do not respect one side but both, in order to make it fair and equal.
Like I said in the open minded section I went to Ogna skole. There the children where basically split into two groups: teasers and teased. I was together with the "teased" group because I cared about them and respected their character.
balanced
I believe that I live a pretty balanced life style. When I come home from school, I do my homework relax. At Sunday I often jog to Kvassheim, a small place 5 miles away from home. I also have hobbies like collecting, surfing, playing chess and making WWII models.

When I have a question, I always search to
find out what it is. If someone questions me that I can’t answer, I do the same
thing. I think I am an inquirer because I am always a curious person with many interests. I ask many questions to the people I know and have an interest in how things work.
